Its thick, corrugated leaves feature a vibrant, irregular pattern: a bright chartreuse to gold center is sharply framed by broad blue-green margins. The colours intensify and shift depending on light exposure, making it a dynamic addition to borders, woodland gardens, or containers. In summer, it produces attractive lavender flowers.
